Rules & penalties

These rules protect fair manual play and a welcoming community across duels, chats, profiles, uploads, and every Set Set Pass service.

Draft for review · September 9, 2026

01Enforcement

Staff consider intent, severity, harm, account history, cooperation, and evidence. Responses include guidance, warnings, duel penalties, temporary freezes, feature restrictions, rating or coin corrections, and permanent bans. Serious or repeated conduct may receive a stronger penalty immediately.

You are responsible for activity through your account. Examples clarify these rules but do not limit them.

02Gameplay errors

  • A minor, unintentional, repairable error may receive an instruction or warning.
  • A major error that materially damages the game state or cannot be fairly repaired may result in a game loss.
  • Represent public and private information honestly and follow the selected format and card pool.
  • Repeating an error after instruction may increase the penalty.

03Pace and participation

  • Play at a reasonable pace while reading cards, checking information, and taking notes.
  • Tell your opponent when a brief interruption is necessary. Extended absence or failure to respond may cause a game or match loss.
  • Intentional stalling, delaying an inevitable result, or disrupting play with table tools is cheating.
  • Continue when staff instruct you unless the disputed action prevents the game from proceeding.

04Cheating and ranked integrity

  • Do not misrepresent rules, cards, hidden information, actions, or the game state.
  • No boosting, win trading, match fixing, queue sniping, coordinated losses, alternate-account abuse, or deliberate disconnects.
  • Do not exploit bugs, evade restrictions, impersonate staff, interfere with the service, or access information outside your role.
  • Results, ratings, rewards, and records may be corrected when misconduct or a technical fault affected them.

05Conduct and communication

  • No harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual harassment, doxxing, targeted abuse, or encouragement of self-harm.
  • No spam, malicious links, scams, unsolicited explicit content, or repeated unwanted messages.
  • Do not badger players or use technical rules only to manufacture an unfair advantage. Good-faith questions are allowed.
  • Follow staff directions during a case. Appeal without insulting or obstructing staff.

06Accounts and uploads

  • Keep credentials private. Do not buy, sell, lend, transfer, or use accounts to evade a restriction.
  • Names, images, mats, sleeves, and messages may not be hateful, explicit, deceptive, privacy-invasive, infringing, or imitate staff.
  • You must have permission to use uploaded content. Staff may remove it and restrict uploads without refunding virtual coins.

07Judge calls and appeals

Preserve the game state and explain the dispute honestly. A judge may repair the state, warn a player, issue a game or match loss, or refer the matter for account action.

One review may be requested after the first decision. An appeal does not permit delay. The reviewing Head Judge or Administrator’s decision controls that match.
